Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life.

My Philosophy

As a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist, I partner with high performers—CEOs, entrepreneurs, creatives—who want both deep insight and actionable results. Therapy is a true collaboration: you bring your ambitions and life story, and I bring the tools and experience to guide you. Whether you need targeted anxiety treatment to handle performance pressure or a deeper, insight-driven journey to unpack long-standing patterns, I custom-tailor every plan to your background, culture, and goals. By weaving psychodynamic exploration (to understand how past experiences shape you) with clear, goal-oriented CBT strategies, we address what’s happening now and equip you with resilience and self-awareness for whatever comes next.

Where I’ve Practiced

UCLA Anxiety Disorder Clinic. Working under the program director, I contributed to tailored interventions for panic, social anxiety, OCD, and performance-related stress. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team sharpened my clinical judgment and deepened my understanding of evidence-based anxiety treatments. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt strategies to each person’s needs and track tangible outcomes.
Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital. I worked on a acute-care unit, helping patients stabilize severe mood and anxiety symptoms and develop safety and coping plans.
Substance-Use Programs. In both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment settings, I supported clients navigating the overlap of addiction, anxiety, and depression—helping them reclaim control and build healthier coping skills.
Academic Settings. At President Obama’s alma mater, I guided students wrestling with academic pressure, identity exploration, and major life transitions—gaining insight into the unique stressors of campus life.
Maximum-Security Prisons. Over the course of my forensic work in multiple maximum-security facilities, I’ve provided crisis intervention during acute incidents, conducted thorough risk assessments, and delivered trauma-informed therapy to inmates—including those serving long-term or life sentences. This role demanded rapid clinical decision-making in mental health emergencies, de-escalation skills, and close collaboration with security staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure both safety and continuity of care.

How I Work

I begin by exploring your life narrative—early relationships, recurring themes, hidden patterns—because high-stakes roles often mask deep-rooted influences. Then, I seamlessly integrate goal-driven CBT exercises (thought records, behavioral experiments, skills training) so our sessions are efficient, focused, and deliver measurable progress week by week. This two-pronged approach not only relieves symptoms like chronic anxiety or burnout but also builds lasting insight and adaptability.

Who I Work With

Anyone Ready for Change
If you’re driven, ambitious, and looking to transform patterns that hold you back—whether in relationships, career, or personal growth—my practice is designed for you.

High Achievers
Professionals who refuse to settle for “good enough” and expect a bespoke therapy experience.

Busy Executives
Leaders juggling demanding roles, tight deadlines, and the desire for stronger work-life balance.

Entrepreneurs & Creatives
People tackling high-pressure launches, public performances, or rapid growth—yet craving deeper self-understanding.

What to Expect in Our First Session

Warm Partnership. A relaxed conversation about your background, current challenges, and what success looks like for you.
Holistic Intake. Focused questions on your history, stressors (anxiety, burnout, performance blocks), and strengths so I can craft a plan that fits your rhythm.
Dual-Lens Orientation. A clear overview of how psychodynamic insight and CBT strategies will interweave to address both roots and symptoms.
Clear Roadmap. Together, we’ll set 2–3 concrete objectives for the next few weeks—whether that’s cutting panic attacks in half, boosting performance under pressure, or strengthening key relationships.

Why I Love This Work

Helping high achievers find the mental edge—and the self-compassion—to sustain it is what lights me up every day. I thrive on the dynamic challenge of working with driven professionals who hold themselves to high standards, yet often overlook their own well-being. There’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing a breakthrough moment—whether it’s a leader breaking free from public-speaking anxiety or an executive finally setting boundaries at home—and knowing I’ve played a role in that transformation. Each client’s journey reminds me how powerful tailored insight and practical tools can be in reshaping thought patterns, strengthening resilience, and opening the door to lasting growth. If you’re ready to move beyond anxiety or performance hurdles and step fully into your potential, let’s start that journey together.
